Shirley Le Roux – General Manager
Shirley has 28 years’ experience in the Travel Industry, beginning with SAA, where she started her career and demonstrated her management expertise (1984-’93) and gained further experience with China Airlines, ERM Travel and Tours (Branch Manager), American Express Travel (In-house Manager) and Tourvest Travel Services (American Express and Seekers) as Divisional Director, Gauteng, and then finally on to the position of Chief Operations Officer Inland, where she was responsible for turnover in excess of two billion Rand, thus contributing to approximately 70% of Tourvest Travel Services total business.
It was during her COO period that Shirley recognised the need for technology that could streamline the business travel management process. Identifying the gaps that existed in the current environments, and given her solutions-based approach to her career, she set about sourcing the best possible solutions for the TMC. As a result she gained invaluable exposure to the various products available, both locally and internationally. Shirley realized that her true passion lay with offering Corporations an independent solution. With the formation of the Empowerment Initiative of Amadeus and insightful business partners, the TraveluXion concept was borne and successfully secured itself as a division of Tshire Travel Solutions and Services.

Fionna Walker – Manager : Product Design & Project Management
Fionna started her career in 1988 as a Junior Consultant at Miller Weedon Travel – Gencor Branch – and a year later joined American Express Travel Services – BHP. From there, for Fionna the direction was upwards, as she gained valuable experience in the field of corporate travel.
Throughout her career, she has served at senior management levels and has had excellent executive level exposure as Senior Travel Consultant, Travel Manager reporting to a Branch Manager, Branch Manager reporting to an Operations Manager, an Operations Manager reporting to an Operations Director overseeing four branches independently, implementing the “on-line” division within the Tourvest Travel group and finally, prior to joining TraveluXion, as General Manager of American Express Global Accounts for American Express Travel Services. Her range of skills, ability to translate operational needs into product direction and her high interpersonal sensitivity makes Fionna a prized asset to our company.

Debra Duncan – Manager : Sales & Marketing
Debbie’s romance and passion for travel began in Durban with Travamarkt in 1978. After driving the establishment of the Contiki brand in South Africa, she moved on to retail travel and enjoyed the challenges of managing a branch at a young age. She later joined Pentravel, managing the Musgrave branch and was part of the team that expanded Pentravel into other parts of Kwazulu Natal including the launch of Pentours.
Having spent her early career in Durban, an opportunity arose to move to Johannesburg as a Training Manager for American Express. Debbie trained travel consultants and forex consultants. Her experience continued to broaden when she joined a division of Thompson Tours and managed VIP groups for Diners Club and Cruises including the exciting visit of the QE2 to South African waters.
Then Debbie set up a Destination Management company called Transworld (a division of Gentravel), becoming General Manager in 1995. They ran incentives, groups, conferences, meeting and events and later merged into Gentravel and, later still, World Travel. Debbie ran the Woodmead retail branch and the operations of the Durban and Cape Town branches and the marketing for the GSA division which included Rail Europe. As Programme Manager of World Travel, Debbie moved into the global space with the merger of Carlsonwagonlit Travel (CWT).
As Senior Manager for Marketing and Programme Management for CWT, she looked after a portfolio of 400 global and local clients. Her responsibilities included the coastal branches and World Travel marketing and operations.
After extensive general, operations and marketing management, Debbie’s next challenge arrived at CWT New Business. Debbie managed and grew the local team, ensuring that CWT participated in many major local and global tenders to consistently achieve ever increasing targets.

Anthony Albutt – Manager : Development
Antony is our technology expert. Before joining TraveluXion, Anthony was Data & Systems Analyst and Application Developer – Infrastructure Managed Services for Unisys Africa (Pty) Ltd, a company with which he had spent a career of 26 years.
His key skills could fill a page: the following list is far from complete:
• Development using – C#.NET, VB.NET, VB6, ASP, ASP.NET, MS SQL 2000/5/8, Oracle, and basic Java.
• Creative application design strategies and specialisation in implementing functional, secure and stable applications (including web apps and middleware), ensuring that products are delivered on time and within specifications.
• Create web services to integrate applications to databases.
• Create web services for application integration via Java APIs.
• Create middleware applications to extract data from GTM and parts system into local databases to enable efficient management and control through local web applications.
• System Administrator and development for Business Objects XI, Microsoft Reporting Services.
• System Administrator and development for HP Openview – Service Desk.
• System Administrator for Mail and SMS servers.
• Developer/Analyst/Administrator – MSSQL Databases, Websites, ACSE Billing System.
• Sound understanding of business principles and strategies
Apart from his passion for what he does best, Anthony’s interests include international travel, skiing, astronomy, airships & electrical power generation.

Yaroni Wilken – Manager : Customer Change Management
Yaroni started her career in the travel and tourism industry in 1993 as a Junior Travel Consultant. By 2000 she was in charge of managing the corporate in-house office of a large international IT company and had two staff reporting to her. In 2003 Yaroni was given the opportunity to broaden her experience by accepting a Key Account Management and Operations Management position at American Express Travel, responsible for Corporate accounts and 24 staff in-house at various clients. 2007 brought forward a challenging project, where she was the project manager responsible for planning, overseeing and managing the opening of the Transnet in-house office with 60 staff. The project needed beginning to end guidance from laying electricity cables, carpets and equipment through to employing staff and putting policies and procedures in place.
The end of 2008 marked the start of a fantastic opportunity to explore life outside of travel. Yaroni took time to strengthen her passion, focusing on people. A new world of learning opened up for her in coaching, counselling and even teaching Gr 0 – Gr 7 after studying to be a Montessori Elementary Directress. Yaroni further qualified as a job coach and facilitator, affording her the opportunity to work with intellectually disabled young adults for over a year, assisting them with finding employment in the open labour market. Studies in various other courses, has left her qualified as a counsellor, life coach and Journey Practitioner.
She enjoys a healthy challenge, building multi-level relationships, and helping people be the best they can be. Professionalism, service levels and guiding learning opportunities are of paramount importance to her. Yaroni has a solid understanding of business requirements and is able to align these with the broader objectives and strategies of our clients, making her an integral part of our team.

Manoj Bhudhia – Project Executive
Accomplished his National Diploma in Information Technology in 2001, and initiated his career at Cullinan Business Systems, the Information Technology (I.T.) Department for Thompsons Tours and Pentravel. He commenced his career as an I.T. Technician, progressed into Web Development, and thereafter promoted to National I.T. Systems Administrator for Cullinan Holdings, all within five and a half years.
Manoj then ventured and joined Tourvest Holdings and was based at Tourvest Tour Operators as a Senior I.T. Engineer and Team Leader. He thereafter relocated to Tourvest Travel Services Head Office as an I.T. Change Coordinator and progressed into an I.T. Project Coordinator role. In 2007 Manoj was nominated to attend an internal Leadership Programme called “High Performance Management” where he was awarded the Personal Growth Award. He was later promoted to Project Manager for Tourvest Travel Services all within eight and a half years. His leadership quality was recognised yet again, by being nominated for the “2010 Mentoring Good to Great” Leadership Programme.
Manoj joined TraveluXion in 2014 as a Project Executive and a valuable asset to the TraveluXion team with his I.T. Travel and Project Management experience.

Mahita Bhudhia – Project Executive
After achieving a National Diploma in Tourism Management, in 2004 Mahita commenced her six and a half year career at Tourvest Travel Services in various strategic Travel Consulting Positions within the Seekers and American Express Brands. This gave her the background and knowledge to become an AeTM Online (Amadeus Online Booking Tool) International Consultant. Her role also included AeTM Online Helpdesk Support as well as assistant to the AeTM Site Builds for Tourvest Travel Service’s Online Clients.
In 2012, Mahita joined the new TravelIT Online Division within Tourvest Travel Services, assisting with Navigational Support and Intermediate Travel Offline changes. She grew within the division to become the TravelIT Logistics Administrator. Her role was to effectively act as a quality medium by ensuring the correct allocation of booking and change requests are filtered to travel consultants by level of skill and capacity. She also assisted with first line client liaison for TravelIT Application Administration Support.
Mahita was nominated for the Mentoring Learnership Programme where she mentored a PDI for a year, who was successfully employed as a Junior Travel Consultant, and has since grown into an Intermediate Travel Consultant. Mahita believes that the best way to be remembered and make a difference in another individual’s life is to share knowledge.
Mahita’s career path started at TraveluXion in June 2014 initially as Software Application Support Team leader and has proven to be such an asset based on her ability to problem solve, manage customer support and her in depth product knowledge, as such we are proud to announce her promotion to Project Executive as of 01 September 2015. We are exceptionally proud of Mahita and we know that her future customers will enjoy her professional and detail orientated manner.

Seipati Grace – Sales Executive
Seipati joined TraveluXion with a diverse career background, started her career an actor with a Diploma in Performing Arts ( Drama), She then ventured into joining the Corporate world by joining Merchants ( Dimension Data ) as a Customer Service Executive, and continued to work with Merchants as Senior Quality Analyst and then joined the Training Department as a Facilitator. She then ventured into Sales in Commercial property before joining Amadeus as GM assistant and projects coordinator and prior to joining TraveluXion she moved to Amadeus Integrated Solutions as assistant to Head of AIS as an Administration Executive.
Seipati as a two time winner of the Amadeus personality award , is a vibrant people centric individual who has a strong background in , Events planning , Corporate Social responsibility , Team building and Office Management , and has gained a lot of experience in Travel from the 7 years spent at Amadeus. Seipati’s passions include, traveling, learning languages, reading and writing.

Krisen Naidoo – Senior Implementor
Krisen’s career in the IT industry began 2001 as an junior technician for National Data systems supporting hardware and software for Nedbank . In 2003 he joined SOS, servicing the Unisys Africa contract doing desktop support. In October 2006 he joined a European based company Swisscom, which serviced all major hotels in overseas markets via wireless network support.
He then moved to Tourvest Travel Services as a Helpdesk Technician in 2007 for 3 years and was then promoted to the IT Communications department as a systems administrator within Tourvest managing their internal network infrastructure as well as server hardware and software support within the group until December 2014.
